Abstract: T
he world is currently facing waves of major economic crises, resulting in the collapse of several economic systems and fueling conflicts between nations. These developments have profoundly affected many developing countries, including Nigeria. Like others, Nigerians have been impacted by these crises, which have negatively influenced various aspects of their lives. This paper, titled "Dealing with Economic Crises from an Islamic Perspective," examines the Islamic approach to managing economic crises, discussing both preventive measures and solutions for addressing challenges, including pandemics. It also provides strategies for navigating economic difficulties within the framework of Islamic Shari’a. The paper concludes by highlighting that Islamic economic principles offer legislative frameworks capable of addressing modern economic crises.
